One of Chicago’s largest privately
owned insurance agencies, located on N. Michigan Avenue, seeks an
experienced Senior Account Manager.
Job Requirements: Position requires a minimum of 5 years
insurance experience working as an Account Representative or equivalent.
Must hold an insurance license. Successful candidates will have an
employment history demonstrating consistent job performance and the ability
to juggle a multitude of responsibilities while working in a demanding team
environment. Proficiency in Word and Excel and experience with an Agency
Management System a must. Job experience must indicate superior attention to
detail.
Responsibilities include: Responsibilities include, but are
not limited to; maintaining and processing current policy information
through the utilization of Agency Automation System and Excel spreadsheets.
Position assists in premium allocation and premium/loss summaries using
Excel spreadsheets. Will establish and maintain client files and prepare
Certificates of Insurance. Handle premium and non-premium bearing
endorsements, audits and other policy transactions as assigned. Will prepare
miscellaneous bonds as needed by clients and and pre-check policies. At the
direction of the Account Executive(s) will prepare submissions to obtain the
most comprehensive coverage at a reasonable premium with a quality market
and will assist in preparation of proposal exhibits in preparation for
client presentations.
