Position:        Account Representative – Walton Team
Reports to:   
Vice President/AE
Function:
       Provide Support to Account Manager(s) and Account Executive(s).

Minimum Qualifications:
  2-4 years of insurance experience, insurance license or become licensed.  Strong computer skills - especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Insurance Agency Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle premium and non-premium bearing endorsements, audits and other policy transactions as assigned.  This will include checking for accuracy and invoicing.  Transmit to the insured, all policy changes with appropriate premium billings.
  • Maintain and process current policy information through the utilization of Agency Automation System and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Prepare premium and loss summaries using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Prepare and maintain Master Insurance Location Schedules of exposures using Excel.
  • Prepare and maintain Insurance Summaries and Policy Registers.
  • Prepare policy expiration sheets.
  • Assist in premium allocations by multiple location using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist in follow-up as directed by Account Executive and other Team members.
  • Establish and maintain client files in accordance with file procedure.
  • Assist AE and Team in assigned tasks relating to due diligence for client’s new acquisitions.
  • Prepare and submit any reports as requested by management.
  • Prepare miscellaneous bonds as needed by client.
  • Prepare and issue Automobile ID Cards.
  • Verify the commission rate on all policies, endorsements and audits to be billed.
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance.
  • Tracking of Certificate of Insurance expirations for JMB non-brokered coverage.
  • Obtain loss runs via on-line carrier RIMS systems and assist in preparation of Loss Summaries and Loss Analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of submissions at the direction of the AE
  • Assist in preparation of proposal and exhibits in preparation for client presentations. Invoice billing on renewals and new business, and confirm to the insured in writing. 
  • Monitor and follow up on open weekly account receivables
  • Monitor and maintain diary suspense for policy issuance and log in receipt for policy review
  • Calculation and tracking of monthly broker service fee schedules and billings
  • Respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner
